I had a delightful experience today in the Gulf Of Mexico. The Sodium atoms dispersed through the salt water in concert with other trace minerals offered the idea of salt as artist. The idea of each salt atom as a piece of a unique, complex pattern in the liquid medium, ideal for suspending and supporting intricate, sacred Sodium formations. In the book about The Element Healing Cards I discuss the interaction of atoms at length and illustrate their artistry.
But today, I saw it in depth, in full light infused color while floating in a very salty sea. I was being shared with by the elementals of the water and Sodium's essence when I perceived this "art". This Divine Art, as beautiful as the most dreamy Botticelli ocean scene and as perfectly evocative as Degas' dancers, was entirely composed of light and patterns.
I invite you to watch for this magic in your salt shaker, salt bath or ocean swim. You never know what you may discover expressing itself in the dance of atoms at play.
