Amy Leigh is a Water Element Therapy™ and Element Therapy™ healer and originator, medical intuitive, channel, author, psychic, sound healer, Reiki Master Teacher, artist and shaman. She has over seven years of experience facilitating positive change and healing for people internationally.
Amy has established an international, eclectic and varied clientele of recipients for her various forms of healing work, her channeling events and her shamanism, faerie realm and elemental workshops.
Amy is the author and creator of The Element Healing Cards: Sparkling Vibrations from Angels, Goddesses, Elohim and Ascended Masters which will be released in 2008. Amy Leigh's Extended Biography
I try to live by the precept that I have few secrets and I am an open book. I have come to the understanding that this is a healthy way to be after years of spiritual and shamanic experiences. I have had many astounding and magical experiences in my twenty nine years as Amy Leigh. I have witnessed miracles of healing and manifestation that have turned my notions of reality upside down enough times for me to let go of the belief that anything in the universe is static. And just when I think something might be; spirit challenges me again with something amazing and beautiful to integrate into the fabric of what I believe to be possible.
The creation of my current being and reality began many lives before the life I am leading now as Amy Leigh. As a being incarnating millions of times (just like you), I have experienced much. At this point in my Amy life, I am able to draw directly and consciously from the well of that experience. In this life I have been well trained as a Medicine Worker by my teacher Laurie Farrell also known as Laughing Star. Laughing Star is a Medicine Worker grounded in traditional Native American ways by a non traditional Medicine Woman. In addition, her connection to Tibetan Buddhism and Animism are major components of the teaching she passed on to me. She is a pioneer in the world of what we now call Star Medicine - the merging of direct contact with celestial spirit guides and traditional Native American Medicine ways. I apprenticed with Laughing Star for over eight years, and we still work together to assist the planet whenever we are asked to by The Great Spirit.
I have continued to developed psychic and healing abilities over my twenty nine year Amy lifetime. As a young child I existed in our world believing that everyone had perceptions like mine. When playing outside by myself I regularly interacted with and looked at what in my mind I referred to as "nature sparkles" or what I now understand to be the fairy folk or elementals that shape and tend to our natural world. During that period before turning six years old, I was also watching atoms at play. I specifically viewed electrons passing energy back and forth and all around. I perceived them much the way I do now more than twenty years later. The ability to see the tiny universe of atoms interacting with each other was practiced by my soul self in another life as an inventor and an artist.
In my twenties when I remembered that life and was able to re-expereince parts of it, I found that the way that artist-self saw the trees, people, stones, and all the items he drew was the same way I now see atoms interacting. Because of this type of "atomic vision" the artist achieved great detail, precision and much success. Reconnecting with that part of myself has really helped me appreciate the remarkable texture our world can communicate to us; because we can see it more deeply and truly, as a framework of time inhabited by many trillions of tiny bits of matter and energy teeming with life. I call on that artist/inventor self often and feel very integrated with the strengths that he possessed. His strengths are now my strengths.
At age eighteen I began actively searching for understanding of our universe; which I knew intuitively had so much more to it then meets the human eye. I also searched for healing from traumatic events in my life. I learned Reiki and took workshops with The Foundation for Shamanic Studies. I learned from several well-respected medical intuitives, and received much needed healing. Soon after receiving healing and learning from the medical intuitive world, my eight year apprenticeship with my teacher Laurie Farrell began, and I dove into clearing trauma from this and other lives and learning from my past lives. I met hundreds of spirit guides over that time and learned a lot about the nature of the universe. I developed full clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and claircognizance. I learned how to heal myself and help heal our planet. I connected with lives I led over many cycles of time and in many realities.
At age 23 I began working with clients as a healer and psychic. I performed Shamanic and Past Life Readings at many area new age and psychic fairs. I established a thriving Healing Practice in Mont Vernon, NH for several years and created and produced two Southwestern NH Healing Arts Festivals called The Summer and Harvest Magic Celebrations. These were widely attended, busy, fun, well organized forums for healers and craftspeople. I also published and edited a Summer Magic Celebration Directory and Magazine with articles and advertisements showcasing the festival vendors. My New England based healing practice thrived for the years I lived there. I learned much through my clients; their experiences greatly broadened the repertoire of abilities that I have accumulated. I extensively practiced talking with people's spirit guides and higher selves for them. I also helped people define and discover their own Dharma or life's purpose. The many Reiki and Shamanism classes I taught over those years were well received. It was fascinating to witness the breadth and scope of people's shamanic journeys and the different ways people perceive the universe and the trillions of beings who are available to assist us all on our paths to wholeness.
In 2003 I moved to Maui, Hawaii and felt in many ways like I had finally arrived home. The island embraced me; and the nature spirits that lived there were so fun-loving. I was doubly thrilled to be in paradise. I lived in Maui for three beautiful years and found my spiritual family there. While I was enjoying the island I wrote several books and worked with a variety of clients. Through that process of working with clients I developed Water Element Therapy™, a healing modality performed in the ocean, lakes, pools and sometimes hot tubs. I have had the privilege of existing in a state of communion and communication with these many beings for over a decade. I am so blessed to have learned and experienced so much with these many helpers and teachers.
